GUB Glashütte
GUB Glashütte, short for Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb GmbH, is a significant part of Glashütte's watchmaking history. It emerged from the East German conglomerate VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe, formed in 1951, which nationalized various watch companies in the town. After German reunification, GUB was privatized and became Glashütte Original.
